Discuss briefly the progress of Marathi and gujarthi literature in India ?

(i) Marathi : Nibandh Mala, newspaper was followed by printing of several other newspapers like Keshari, Sandesh, Kal after 1918 C.E. Eminent iterators were  Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Harbahan Apte, N.C. Phadke etc., in Marathi language.

(ii) Gujarati : Eminent literators in Gujarati were __ Dalapat Roy, Narmada Shanker, Behramji,Nanda Shankar, Tula Shanker and K.M. Munshi. These are not well - known because their works have not been involved in textbook.
