Redox reactions are used in a wide range of industrial applications .It includes metallurgical processes for extracting metals from their ores ,combustion of fuels and energy generation using electrochemical cells .These reactions are also applicable in electrochemical reactions.It is applicable in electroplating to make jewellery ,mirrors  and shining surfaces resistant in tarnishing ,corrosion  etc .It is also applicable in the production of ammonia like fertilizers .
