WHAT IS IQ. HOW DOES IT DIFFER IN EVERY INDIVIDUAL? CAN ANY NORMAL PERSON HAVE BRAINS AS STEFAN HAWKING? |
Intelligence Quotient (IQ) is a value that indicates a person's ability to learn, understand, and apply information and skills in a meaningful way. The capacity to reason, to plan, to solve problems, to think abstractly, to comprehend ideas, to use language, and to learn differ from person to person. the factors may be genetic differences vary from personto person. Recently it is said that even the brain size constitutes a higher IQ. Stephen Hawking was diagnosed with the disease called Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), at the age of 21. There is a break in the chain of communication. It is important to remember that a person suffering with ALS has normal brain function, as is clearly demonstrated in Stephen Hawking. The person can think clearly, remember things, and have the same level of intelligence as before the ALS diagnosis was made. ALS affects the chain of communication at the motor neuron level. So, the brain is not affected. |
