What is composite number?

A composite number is a positive integer that has at least one positive divisor other than one and  itself. In other words a composite number is any positive integer greater than one that is not a prime number.
 eg:-the factors of 6 are 1 , 2 , 3 , 6.
ie, it has factors other than 1 and 6.
This means that 6 is a composite number.
