WHY BENZALDEHYDE NOT KNOWN AS BENZANAL
Organic chemistry has a  strict naming nomenclature . The name  benzaldehyde that will not be the only acceptable answer. They might also accept the older non IUPAC names benzoic aldehyde or phenyl methanal but made up names like benzanal will not be accepted.
