What is cfc?

CFC is an abbreviation for gas  known as Chlorofluorocarbon. It is a group of organic compounds containing elements which include carbon, fluorine and, in many cases, other halogens and also hydrogen. CFC gas is used in refrigeration systems, air conditioning propellants in aerosol applications and also as a solvent. CFC result in depletion of the ozone layer .
