how can we write subshell electronic configuration?

The distribution of electrons in different orbitals of an atom is called electronic configuration. The electrons are placed in the shells according to their energies .The order of filling sub shell is 1s  2s 2p 3s 3p 4s 4p 5s 4d 5p 6s 4f 5d 6p 7s 5f  6d 7p . 's' sub shell can hold a maximum of 2 electrons ,p-sub shell can hold a maximum of 6 electrons, d sub shells can hold a maximum of 10 electrons and f sub shell can hold a maximum of fourteen electrons .
