properties of 'd'block elements?
(i) All d block elements are metals .These elements show high tensile strength ,malleability, ductility ,high thermal and electrical conductivity and possess metallic lusture .
(ii) These elements are hard and have high melting and boiling points. 
(iii) Many of the transition elements are sufficiently electropositive and get dissolved in mineral acids .
(iv) These elements forms alloys among themselves and with other metals .
(v)With very few exceptions, these elements exhibit variable coloured in one or all the oxidation states and form paramagnetic compounds .
