solve for x and y 2x/a+y/b=2, x/a-y/b=4
2x/a+y/b=2, x/a-y/b=4
Xing  by ab throughout the equation gives
2bx+ay=bx-ya=4ab
Splitting into 2 equations
   Eq :1=2bx+ay=4ab
   Eq :2=bx-ya=4ab
             
Eq :1+Eq :2=3bx=8ab
                     =3x=8a
                     =x=(8/3)a

Substitute value of x in Eq:1
2*b*(8/3)a+ay=4ab
2b*(8/3)+y=4b
y=4b-(16/3)b
y=-(4/3)b
