Luteinizing hormone(LH) and Follicle Stimulating Hormone are the main gonadotropins. During the follicular phase of menstrual cycle, the secretion of gonadotropins increases. It stimulates the secretion of estrogen. LH induces the rupture of Graffian follicle and release of ovum.
