What are the merits and demerits of high yield seeds?
The maturity time of crop is less.
    Multiple crops can be grown easily.
    seeds are mostly flood and drought resistant.
    Problems of pests and diseases are less. They require less pesticides. The crop productivity is more in HYS.

Demerits

    They need more inputs. It is  costly.
