HOW PLANTS EXCRETE WASTE?

The main waste materials produced by plants are water, oxygen, carbondioxide and some minerals. Water is excreted through stomata in the form of water vapor by the process called transpiration. Oxygen and carbondioxide are also excreted through stomata. Excess minerals are translocated to older leaves and are excreted when the leaves fall off.
