what is solarsystem?

The solar system is  made up of  the sun and eight  planets that revolve  around the sun.   In addition to planets, the solar system  also consists of  moon, comets, asteroids, minor  planets, dust and  gases.    Inorder of  their  distances from the sun,  the planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus  and Neptune.  Out of these  eight planets, six have moons orbiting them.
