WGAT IS MYXOEDEMA?
Myxoedema coma is a rare, but potentially fatal disorder which may occur in patients with longstanding untreated hypothyroidism.[1] It can be difficult to diagnose and successfully treat.Myxedema is a difficult skin condition, which can progress to even more severe symptoms when people have hypothyroidism or low thyroid hormone levels.
