Modern agriculture is similar to traditional farming in the aspect that it involves food production by land cultivation and raising livestock. This farming has been modified with the introduction of heavy machineries, in some farming chemical fertilizers and genetic alteration of crops to ensure highest yield of food production with less manual labor.
