Find the zeroes of the quadratic polynomial x2+7x+12 and verify the relationship between the zeroes and the coefficients. (2 marks)
x2 + 7x + 12 = 0
x2 + 4x + 3x + 12 = 0
x(x + 4) + 3(x + 4) = 0
(x + 4)(x + 3) = 0
x = -4,-3
-4 and -3 are zeros of quadratic polynomial.
Sum of zeros =-4-3              
                    =-7
                     = -coeff. of  x

Product of zeros = (-4)(-3)
                        =12
                        = constant term
