who is the father of physics?

Ans : 
There has been a heated debate on who should be credited as the actual father of physics. Greek philosopher Thales who lived in 6th century BC is  regarded as the father of theoretical physics.

The father of Modern Physics is considered to be the Italian physicist Galileo Galilei. Issac  Newton is also considered as one of the most relevant contributors to the classical physics.
Some famous physicists of the modern period are Sir Isaac Newton, Johannes Kepler, Benjamin Franklin, Michael Faraday, Nikolai Tesla, Niels Bohr and Albert Einstein etc.
