a tennis ball and cricket ball are placed on a smooth frictionless surface and given same initial velocities in the horizontal direction.which among them travel more distance after a particular time interval?explain.
Tennis balls are lighter than cricket balls. Therefore less mass. If a tennis ball travels at the same speed as a cricket ball, its momentum (mass x velocity) is lower. Therefore it stops after sometime.Thus cricket ball travels more distance in the same time interval.
