Give a brief description of the process of synthess of food in green plant .

Green plants produce food in the form of glucose by the process called photosynthesis. In chlorophyll of leaves, water and carbondioxide are combined to form glucose in the presence of sunlight. Water is absorbed from soil using roots and water is absorbed from the atmosphere using stomata.
