WHAT ARE DEFICIENCY DISEASES ?

Ans :
A deficiency disease is caused by lack of some nutrient, or essential component for proper bodily functioning.Some examples are listed below.

1. Night-blindness
               Due to the deficiency of vitamin A in the diet.

2. Beri-beri
               This is basically a disorder of the nerves caused due to the deficiency of vitamin-B.

3. Scurvy:
            People affected scurvy becomes  lose weight and  weak. Their teeth start shaking and become loose.This disease is caused due to the deficiency of vitamin-C.

4.. Goitre
             Causes a  swelling around the neck region of a person.Caused due to the deficiency of iodine.
