an athlete completes one round of a circular track of diameter 200 meters in 40 seconds.what will be the distance covered and the displacement at the end of 2 minutes 20 seconds?

radius,r=100m.
Time=2min and 20 sec.
       = 140 seconds.
one round,S=w*r= 2*22/7*100 
distance travelled in 40 seconds = 2 * 22/7 *100
in 1 second   = 2 * 22/7 * 100/40
in 140 second = 2 * 22/7 * 100/40 * 140
              = 2200 m.
ie,distance=2200m.
in 140 sec, 3.5 rounds of circular track will be completed.
Therefore the displacement= diameter=200m.
