what is the difference between endosmosis and exosmosis?

Endosmosis:
  
 The movement of solvent takes place from outside to inside the cell, when placed in the hypotonic solution. It causes swelling of cell.

Exosmosis:

The movement of solvent takes place from inside to outside the cell, when placed in the hypertonic solution. It results in the shrinkage of cell.
