Two resistances 3ohm and 6ohm are connected in parallel and the combination is connected to a series with a resistance 2 ohm Find the total resistance?
From the question we have,
                       two resistance R1 and R2 are in parallel connection
                                    R1=3ohm
                                     R2=6ohm
                 The resistance R3 is in series combination with R1and R2.
Then total resistance=(R1R2/R1+R2)+R3
                                                   =(18/9)+2
                                       =4ohm
