Lin seed is the seeds of the flax plant .It is a fibre crop .Flax fibres are taken from the stem of the plant .Flax fibres are smooth and straight and three times as strong as cotton . Lin seed oil is taken from the grown flax plant .Lin seed oil is a drying oil that is it can be polymerise into a soild form.It is used in wood to retain natural moisture to prevent cracking .Flax seed sprouts are edible .
