A body cover a distance of 20m in 7th second and 24m in the 9th second.How much shall it cover in 15th second?
Equation for the distance covered by a particle in any seconds of its motionis given by
              Sn = u +1/2 a(2n-1)
               S7 = (1/2) a(14-1) =20
                (13/2)a =20   .........(1)
              S9 =(1/2)a(18-1) =24
              (17/2)a= 24  ..........(2)
from (1) &(2)
                     a=2m/s
               S15 =(1/2)*2*29 =29m
The body will cover 29m in 15th seconds.
