what are the causes of resistance?
Electrical conductors oppose the passage of charge through them.This opposition arises due to the collision of the moving charges with the vibrating atoms,defects in the crystal lattice impurity atoms etc. of the conductors , and this opposition of passage of charge through conductors is the cause of resistance.
