Uses of Washing soda
1.In glass, soap, paper industries
 2.Making sodium compounds such as borax
 3. As domestic cleaning agent
 4. Removing permanent hardness of water
Uses of baking soda
  1.Making baking powder (Baking soda + Mild acid, like tartaric acid)
2. Ingredient for antacids. Being alkaline, it neutralises excess acid in the stomach and provides relief.
3.Soda–acid fire extinguisher
