what is mean by arithmetic sequence?
An arithmetic progression (AP) or arithmetic sequence is a sequence of numbers such that the difference between the consecutive terms is a constant.
 For example: the sequence 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14… is an arithmetic progression with common difference 2.
