Sublimation is a process due to which a solid directly changes to gaseous state and on cooling directly changes back to solid state without changing to liquid state .The gaseous or vapour form is called sublime and the solid state formed from gaseous state on cooling is called sublimate .
Example :Naphthalene sublimes at room temperature .
