A farmer moves along the boundary of a square field of side 10 m in 40 s.what will be magnitude of displacement of the farmer at the end of 2 minutes 20 seconds from his initial position?


When the farmer walks along the boundary of the square field after covering 35 m he is 5 m away from reaching the point from where he started walking(perimeter of the square = 40 m). Hence the magnitude of displacement is 5 m.
