what are the important buildings built by the British in India?
1.India Gate was built to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in World war1 and Afghan wars.This monument was built by Edwin Lutyens.
2.Rashtrapati bhawan was built by the famous British architect Lutyens, Parliament house is the seat of the Indian Parliament.
3.Fort St George is the first fort to be built by the British in India. 
4. Fort St. George is one of the oldest British monuments in Chennai. 

Victoria Terminus in Bombay, Vicoria memmorial in Culcutta, St.john's College in Agra were some other examples of  British architecture.
