HOW ARE CLOUDS FORMED

Clouds are formed when rising warm air expands and cools. Because cold air can't hold as much water vapor as warm air, some of the vapors condense onto minute pieces of dust in the atmosphere and then form a droplet around each piece of dust. These droplets can then come together, and if there are enough of them, a cloud will form.

OR

The heat of the sun warms up bodies of water so that some of the water evaporates. The water vapor rises into the air, cools, and changes back into tiny drops of water or pieces of ice which come together to form clouds.
