HOW ARE FOG FORMED

Fog is created by the air being full of condensed water droplets that are cooled to the point where the air can no longer hold the water. It can be formed where there is snow or ice on the ground and a warm air mass comes through the area and causes the fog. It can also be formed at end of summer when the water is still warm and is evaporating into the atmosphere and a cold front comes through. This cold front cools the air and causes the fog.
