WHEN DO WE USE WORDS LIKE 'MUCH','MANY','SEVERAL'?
Much ,many,several etc are quantifiers. They are Adjectives and adjectival phrases that describe quantity . Many,few,several etc can only go with countable nouns (friends, cups, people), a little,much etc can only go with uncountable nouns (sugar, tea, money, advice)and a lot of ,plenty of etc can be used with both countable and uncountable nouns.
