An object of mass 5 kg is having an initial velocity 10m/s and final velocity of 18m/s in a time of 4 seconds.Calculate the force to be applied .
Force f = ma
acceleration a = ( final velocity - initial velocity )/time
                     = (18-10)/4 = 8/4 =2m/s2

F =5 x 103 g x 2m/s2
   = 104 N
