SIR, PLEASE EXPLAIN ABOUT CIVIL WAR IN ENGLAND AND THE FRENCH REVOLUTION ALSO ?

The English Civil War

The English Civil War (1642–1651), was a series of armed conflicts and political machinations between the English Parliamentarians and Royalists . There were three main war in this series .The first (1642–46) and second (1648–49) civil wars pitted the supporters of King Charles I against the supporters of the Long Parliament, while the third war (1649–51) saw fighting between supporters of King Charles II and supporters of the Rump Parliament. The Civil War ended with the Parliamentary victory at the Battle of Worcester on 3 September 1651.This war led to the replacement of English monarchy with the Commonwealth of England in1649 and then with a Protectorate 1653 under Oliver Cromwell's personal rule.

French revolution:

 French Revolution is the revolutionary movement that shook France between 1787 and 1799 and reached its first climax there in 1789.This  was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France that had a major impact on France and throughout the rest of Europe. Liberty, equality and fraternity were the guiding principle of French revolution. It declared that all men are born free and are equal in rights.

      The real  Revolution began in 1789 .During this period, The French society was divided into three groups. The nobles, the clergyman and the common people. The nobles and clergyman who had all the privileges  were not to pay taxes .But the condition of the common people , who had to pay  taxes, were miserable . So these restless common people began to revolt against then ruler, Louis XIV  . The Tennis Court Oath  and Fall of Bastille were important events during the the French Revolution. The revolutionaries broke open  the prison of Bastille in Paris on 14th July 1789. This day is celebrated as the National Day of France. Maximilien Robespierre and the Jacobins were the important figers of the revolt.
