A partially dried clay mineral contains 8% water. The original sample contained 12% water and 45% silica. The percentage of silica in the partially dried sample is :
Since the ratio of water and silica in original  sample is 4:15(water : silica)
So in dried sample it would also same
So the % of silica is 30%
