can we say that insectivorous plants are partial heterotrophs?
Insectivorous plants also prepare food by themselves, but they lack some of the vital  nutrients since they grow in soil where the nutrients are deficient.They eat some insects and thus make up for the nutrients. Hence they are said to be partial heterotrophs.
