I'd like to know about share market.what function does it serve in the commercial world?
Share Market is a public market where stocks, mutual funds, bonds etc. of a company are bought and sold. Stock market, Mutual fund market etc. comes under Share Market. Primarily Share Market refers to stock market. By buying a stock of a particular company you get ownership of that company to the extent of your investment. In other words the company shared its ownership with you. This allows businesses to be publicly traded, or raise additional financial capital for expansion by selling shares of ownership of the company in a public market.

History has shown that the price of shares and other assets is an important part of the economic activity, and can influence or be an indicator of a country's development. An economy where the stock market is on the rise is considered to be an up-and-coming economy. In fact, the stock market is often considered the primary indicator of a country's economic strength and development.
