WHAT IS THE ADAPTATION AND HABITAT OF SQUIRREL

1. Squirrels have long bushy tails that they use for balancing as they jump from a tree to another, for shade in hot weather, and for slowing their fall.
   
2. They also have slender toes and sharp claws that enable them to climb trees very fast.
   
3. Additionally, just before winter, squirrels grow a thick winter coat after shedding their hair to keep them warm in the cold period.
   
4. They usually live for about 5 to 8 years.
