HOW IS THE COMPUTER STORE INFORMATION |
Ans: The computer stores the information in the form of electrical signals as 0 or 1 in its memory. Memory is a storage system made up of a number of registers of several bites/bytes capacity. The basic component in the register is the flip flop which is able to store one bit at a time (either 0 or 1). By incorporating several registers and organization a memory system of desired size can be implemented. For large size of data computers typically uses magnetic memories like hard disks or optical memories like CD-ROMs. They also store information in bits but either magnetic or optical means. |
