What is the difference between cerebrum and medullaoblangata

Cerebrum is the largest part of the human brain. It occupies the major portion inside the skull. It controls the voluntary activities. It receives and gives the feeling from sense organs. Medulla oblongata is the lowermost part of the brain. It is seen behind the cerebrum. It's continuation is the spinal cord, which occupies the vertebral column. Medulla controls involuntary actions like heartbeat.
