| Pitcher plant is an insectivorous plant. Some of its leaves are modified into pitcher(flask)-like structures. It will have a lid too. When an insect comes to the plant, it may fall into the pitcher. Using some chemicals present inside the pitcher, the plant will digest the insects and absorb some nutrients. |
