Why air is called 'homogeneous'?
Air is considered a homogeneous substance as the contents of air are dissolved in air completely in definite propotions. Air contains 78% nitrogen,21% oxygen and 1% the rest of the gases,water vapour and dust particles.this propotion is maintained throughout.
