WHAT IS HABITAT?

The period between 700 and 1750 was the period of great mobility. Throughout this period there was a gradual clearing of forests and the extension of agriculture, a change faster and more complete in some areas than in others. Changes in their habitat forced many forest-dwellers to migrate. Habitat refers to the environment of a region and the social and economic lifestyle of its residents.
