WHAT IS SURFACE TENSION,VICOSITY,VAPOUR PRESSURE?

Surface tension is a property of a liquid by which the free surface of a liquid behaves like a stretched elastic membrane ,having a contractile tendency. The surface tension is measured by the force acting per unit length of an imaginary line on the free surface of the liquid at rest.
The property due to which a liquid oppose the relative motion between its different layers is known as viscosity.
The vapour pressure or equilibrium vapour pressure is the prssure exerted by a vapour in thermodynamic equilibrium with its condensed phase (solid or liquid) at a given temperature in a closed system. The equilibrium vapor pressure is an indication of a liquid's evaporation
