the season are not same in the two hemispheres. what is the reason for this?

Seasons in the Southern Hemisphere are the reverse of those in the Northern Hemisphere. The reason for this variation is the fact that the Earth’s axis is not actually perpendicular to the line from Earth to Sun. Rather, it tilts away from perpendicular by 23.5 degrees.  As the Earth spins, the Northern Hemisphere would always be illuminated while the Southern Hemisphere would remain in darkness all the time.
