DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MICRON &FERMI
Micron is one millionth (10-6) part of a metre.It is expressed by the symbol   ?. 
  It is also called micrometre (symbol ?m).
                                    1 micron  (?) = 10-6 metre
                                                         = 10-4 cm = 10-3 mm.
Fermi (f) is 10-15 th part of a metre. i.e.,
                       1 fermi (f) = 10-15 m
