What is the differance between Magnetic Field and Field Lines?

A magnetic field is the area surrounding a magnet in which the effects of that magnet may be observed.A magnetic field is represented by imaginary lines of force which we call magnetic lines of force or magnetic flux.Flux is measured in units called webers. If you place an object in a magnetic field, it will be affected, and the effect will happen along field lines.
