Courts ofIndian Offenses are courts operated by the Department of Interior, Bureau of
Indian Affairs, on certain reservations. Those courts operate under federal
regulations contained in Volume 25 of the Code of Federal Regulations 1 and
for this reason are often referred to as “CFR” courts.
